Camp Rudolph is located on 106 Acres in Beautiful Sussex County, Virginia, Just south of the town of Yale. Our facilities can accommodate groups of up to 200 and are open year round. They include modern dormitories, a dining hall, a large meeting hall, teaching shelters, recreational areas, and a swimming pool (seasonal). *Wilderness Camping: want to get back to creation? Our wilderness area is also available for retreats if your into open fire cooking and campout style retreats. The wilderness site has a shelter and picnic tables. Tent are available to rent upon request. **Set back in our wooded section of camp Rudolph is Team Development Course. This course is set into two parts: the first being a low ropes team development course, the second being a high ropes challenge course. The Team development course consist of a number of both physical and mentally challenging puzzles and games all geared towards bringing your group together as a unit and pushing them to work together. None of the challenges on the team development course can be solved without working as a team making the place an excellent place to bring you youth group, leadership team, elders etc. teaching how important teamwork is. The high ropes course consists of a high wire traverse leading to a zip line. After participants go down the zip line they are put on our unique zap line and sent back. This course is great for individuals wanting something new and exciting, and encourages them to face their fears and realize their ability to overcome challenges. Check out some pictures of our team development course and our high ropes course here. Our high ropes course has been inspected for safety by Challenge Towers, a nationally recognized group. Our staff has been trained in the use of the ropes course and in high ropes rescue techniques. |
