What Do I Bring to Camp? |
Camp is an awesome place to come and experience the love of Christ and develop friendships that will last a life-time. Camp is tons of fun and can be a life changing experience. Here's a list of things to make sure you bring to get the most out of your week of camp. * Bible - Camp is all about getting into the word of God and learning about our faith, we want everyone to have the opportunity to get into the Word. *Something to write on/in - notebook, pens, pencils, legal pad, loose leaf paper...whatever you prefer, bring something to write on. We have some great messages to be shared and you might want to write something down that catches your ear. And you'll always need a way to write down all the MySpace and aim screen names of all the people you'll meet at camp. *Bedding-the camp provides twin mattresses for everyone that comes to camp. However, we do not provide bedding. Bring a sleeping bag, or bring sheets and a blanket, whichever one you prefer, just make sure you bring it. The cabins are air-conditioned so make sure you pack accordingly. *Towels - this one is pretty self explanatory, but we recommend bringing a towel for the pool and a towel or two for showering. *Toiletry items - shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush...etc. *Bathing Suit - yes the camp has a pool and yes you will want to be in it, so make sure you don't forget your bathing suit. Ladies, please bring a modest one piece bathing suit. *Clothing - please make sure you bring enough clothes for the week. Some weeks of camp may be having a lot of activities that could get a little dirty, so pack some clothes you won't mind getting messed up just in |

What are wilderness weeks? |
-Wilderness weeks are a great time to get out and experience God's creation. The wilderness weeks of camp take place on the undeveloped portion of Camp Rudolph's campus. Campers are housed in tents and cook meals over open fires. During the week they have the opportunity to participate in many activities; including: canoeing, mountain biking, and the high and low ropes course as well as others. This is an awesome week for the campers as well as the staff to get out and get into nature. If you have any other questions about Wilderness week, please give the office a call. |
